QUESTIONS FROM OUR ESTEEMED CLIENTS;

1.Dear Architect I have a drainage issue in my environment anytime it rains the water enters into my house and everywhere is flooded ,what can i do to stop this menace?

From your  explanation,I believe the building is lower in level from the road level and as such water will always find his way to the lowest level . there are two ways to resolve this issue
  1. Create a drainage along the main road level to catch the rain-flow coming from the road, ensure it is at least 900mm in depth
  2. secondly create another drainage close to the entrance and divert the rain water away from the building with perimeter drainage.this will prevent water from entering into the building as a catchment has been provided .
